Kam means fulfillment of desire - but it is incorrectly translated and interpreted in the english version.

The four Purusharthas - the four blessings of the Lord are:
1. Dharam - righteousness
2. Arth - wealth
3. Kam - fulfillment of desire, success
4. Mokh - liberation

Siri Guru Granth Sahib - The Eternal living Guru

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib had passed on His whole Potency to Sri Guru Angad Sahib. Sri Guru Angad Sahib passes on the same to Sri Guru Amar Das Ji and so on. Tenth Nanak (Sri Guru Gobind Singh) passes on the same Potency to Siri Guru Granth Sahib in terms of Eternity. There is no distinction between Potency and the Possessor thereof. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the same Jaagdi Jot - Jot Roop Har Guru Nanak. Sri Guru Nanak Sahib and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib are inseparable from Siri Guru Granth Sahib and exist in Siri Guru Granth Sahib in their fullness. That is why Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib declares that He permanently abides and dwells in Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Every Hymn of Siri Guru Granth Sahib is surcharged and pervaded with Divine fragrance, glow and eternal presence of our beloved Lord Guru Nanak. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the Eternal Embodiment of the whole Shakti, Divine Wisdom, Love, Humility, Holiness and Divinity of all the Ten Manifestations of Guru Nanak Dev.

And this is how this Sovereign Power of Siri Guru Granth Sahib is addressed to:

Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the Celestial Ship of the Divine Name (Waheguru). Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the Protector, the Saviour in this world and the worlds hereafter. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the Eternal Guru, Jaagdi Jot. Is the Illuminator and the Divine Sustainer of the whole Universe. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is an Ocean of Nectar and a drop of this Nectar is enough for emancipation.

Eh Jeonda, Jaagda, Bolda Guru Nanak Hai

Highly blessed are the souls who sail in this Celestial and Divine Ship (Siri Guru Granth Sahib). It is a ‘Voyage Divine’, through the most dreadful Ocean of Mortality in this Dark Age (Kali Yuga). It is a wonderful long journey in the perpetual Holy company of our most Beloved Satguru. Wonder of wonders is that Guru Nanak Dev is all the time at our side and never leaves us stranded for a moment. Guru Nanak Dev is our Rescuer and our Saviour. As Holy Guru Granth Sahib is a Divine Ship one can easily cross this terrible ocean of illusion and mortality by hearing, by singing (Holy Kirtan), by reciting the Divine Name (Waheguru) and Glories of the Lord through the Hymns of the Lord Himself.

Amrit Bani (Gurbani) was the Guru from the very beginning, Sri Guru Nanak Sahib illuminated the world through Gurbani.

The same Divine Jot continued the process of illumination through Gurbani in the Luminous Form of Sri Guru Angad Sahib. Sri Guru Nanak Sahib continued the Divine process through Sri Guru Amar Das Ji and so on. Illumination continues unabated-through the same Gurbani from Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

The Form of Siri Guru Granth Sahib changes with the stage of the disciple. It varies with the level of love.

God is Love and Love is God. In His Great Udasis Sri Guru Nanak Sahib reaches out, in Love, to the worst sinners like Kauda the Rakshas, Sajan the Murderer, Bhooma the Dacoit, the Lepers and the downtrodden and saves them. Eternal manifestation of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, Siri Guru Granth Sahib is Love and Love is Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is Cosmic Love and reaches out to all those who seek solace and healing balm of the Great Emancipator. Healing and Soothing Love of Siri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib reaches out to the thirsty and wounded enemy, it reaches out to the whole Humanity without distinction and discrimination. Love of Guru Gobind Singh Ji is All-Embracing and Universal. All Glory to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib who infused the whole of His Potentiality in the Eternal Manifestation, The Eternal Guru Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

Gurbani is surcharged with all the spiritual power of the Divine/Gurus as they had infused their whole Divine strength there in. Each and every Hymn stands fully surcharged with the Eternal Glory of the Divine Name.

Tenth Guru Nanak permanently resides and dwells in Siri Guru Granth Sahib and blessed indeed is the devotee to whom He so reveals Himself.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib was a Spiritual Lion, Upholder of Truth, Saviour of the righteous and Destroyer of the unrighteous. He was Bestower of the Nectar of Immortality, Elixir of Life Eternal. Most gracious and compassionate Guru was Bestower of the rare boon of martyrdom and was Himself Exemplar Supreme of total sacrifice of everything nearest and dearest. He was Repository of all divine and human virtues and a Performer of the most wondrous deeds in human garb which being beyond human endeavour are only possible by the Lord Himself. To the Lovers, Guru Gobind Singh Ji is the Supreme Ideal of Tapasya, of meditation when envisioned absorbed in deep and long meditation at Hemkunt Sahib. He is the Supreme Ideal of Renunciation and Sacrifice as He sacrifices every thing and every one nearest and dearest for the sake of Truth. He is the Supreme Ideal of Brahm Vichar, Divine knowledge as the Great Author of Jaap Sahib, Bachitar Natak and of an ocean of life giving Nectar (Bani). He is the Supreme Ideal of Divine Love Himself, being the perfect Embodiment and Personification of His Great Proclamation.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji
He is an Ideal Warrior, an Ideal Sample of Divine Perfection and Repository of all Divine Excellences. He is an Ideal Divine for all contemplation and meditation.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji cast the Khalsa in the image of the Divine and manifested the Divine in the image of the Khalsa. He had refashioned the Sadh Sangat into Khalsa on the auspicious day of Baisakhi.

This Great Religion rests on a unique foundation built up brick by brick, each brick signifying the Grand Majesty of a unique Sacrifice and Martyrdom. Bricks cruely arranged to brick alive the minor sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib render Eternal Glory to this Unique Foundation. This brick by brick foundation has been cemented by the holy martyrdom blood of the Saviour Gurus themselves because only on such a peerless and matchless purity and humility rests the Divine Throne of Guru Nanak Dev - Holy Guru Granth Sahib, Purer than Purity itself.

We should pray from the core of our heart and seek Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib's unbounded grace to enable us to cultivate in us the great virtues and ideals set out by Him in His holy commandments and to become worthy of His holy mould and sacred cast that is Khalsa.

O, My Lord, you are approachable only by true love and then you start feeding the true aspirant with the Nectar of Divine Love yourself. O, my Beloved Satguru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, you hold the Mighty Power, the Bhagauti, in your Right Hand and control everything. You lead, bless and guide your lovers on the Royal Path of Divine Love, Prema. Without your blessings and guidance it is not possible to tread the path of Truth, Love and Righteousness. O, my Beloved and Great Guru, you, out of mercy, had shown the Great Path and pray now lead us lest we go astray.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Great World Teacher, is the Enlightener of the World. He is Cosmic Light - Light of the Universe. Khalsa enshrines this Cosmic Light in the Holy Folds of his own All Pure ATAM and always recites Guru's Divine Name (Waheguru) with the holy lips of his Ever Glowing JOT. (Excerpt: Eternal Glory)

Er (Sri Guru Gobind Singh) öffnete den Granth Sahib, legte 5 Paise hin und verneigte sich vor ihm feierlich als seinen Nachfolger. Während Er Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh sagte, ging Er um den Guru Granth Sahib herum und verkündete:

Auf den Willen des Unsterblichen Einen Gottes wurde der Panth kreiert. Alle Sikhs werden dazu aufgefordert, den Granth als ihren Guru zu akzeptieren. Betrachtet den Guru Granth als die Verkörperung der Gurus. Diejenigen, die Gott treffen möchten, können ihn in seinen Hymnen finden. Die Khalsa möge regieren und ihre Gegner werden nicht weiter bestehen. Die, die getrennt waren, werden sich vereinigen und alle Gläubigen werden gerettet (beschützt).

Was bedeutet Raj Karega Khalsa? Satguru Nanak Dev lehrt mit dem Sikh Weg des Lebens die Grundlage von Souveränität und Reinheit, manifest im Khalsa Panth. Es ist das ewige Gesetz Gottes, dass dauerhaft und unveränderlich sein wird. Raj Karega Khalsa ist das reine Bewußtsein, selbstlos, voller Liebe, Mitgefühl, demütig, ohne Ego. Dieses reine Bewußtsein ist es, was die Welt transformiert. Das reine, souveräne All-Bewußtsein ist der Schöpferherr selbst. Er ist der Wahre König und sein Königreich wird unveränderlich und für immer wahr sein. Guru Maharaj lehrt, dass man, ohne zu erkennen und ohne mit dem Göttlichen im Inneren verbunden ist, in Dunkelheit lebt und dort verbleibt. Guru Sahib sagt, dass das Wort, mit dem der Guru uns segnet, das Heilige Wort (Waheguru Naam), ein so kostbares Juwel ist. Dieses Juwel bringt uns dazu, uns mit dem göttlichen Juwel zu vereinigen. Siri Guru Granth Sahib betont den Segen des Gurus:

Empfange den heiligen Namen, bleibe bei diesem Namen, werde voller Liebe zu Gott und Du wirst der kosmischen All-Seele begegnen.
Der menschliche Körper ist der Tempel Gottes, von dem man Gott erkennen und erfahren kann. Das menschliche Bewußtsein ist im Stande den Atma, den Param-Atma wahrzunehmen, zu reflektieren und zu realisieren. Diejenigen, die gegen Wahrheit, Rechtschaffenheit, Souveränität, Frieden und Toleranz auf Erden waren, werden von Gott selbst transformiert.
Bedeutet Raj Karega Khalsa, dass alle Sikhs sein sollen? Nein - die Vielfalt der Menschen, Kulturen und Religionen auf Erden ist Gottes größte Freude und der Wille Gottes (Hukam). Der Khalsa ist der Freund aller und hat sich seit der Gründung des Khalsa Panth für Wahrheit, Freiheit, Rechtschaffenheit, Selbstbestimmung, Glaubensfreiheit, für die demokratischen Grundwerte, für die Würde und Rechte der Menschen eingesetzt.

He (Sri Guru Gobind Singh) then opened the Granth Sahib, placed five paise and solemnly bowed to it as his successor. Saying Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh, he walked around the Guru Granth Sahib and proclaimed:

Under orders of the Immortal Being, the Panth was created. All the Sikhs are enjoined to accept the Granth as their Guru. Consider the Guru Granth as embodiment of the Gurus. Those who want to meet God, can find Him in its Hymns. The Khalsa shall rule, and its opponents will be no more, Those separated will unite and all the devotees shall be saved.

The Sikh faith differs as regards the authenticity of its dogmas from other theological systems. Many of the great teachers of the world has known have not left a line on their own composition, and we only know what they taught through tradition or secondhand information. We know the teachings of Sokrates only through the writings of Plato and Xenophan. Buddha has left no written memorials of his teachings. Kung Fuzu, known to Europeans as Confucius left no documents in which he detailed the principles of his moral and social system. The founder of Christianity did not reduce his doctrine to writing and for them we are obliged to trust to the Gospels according to Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. The Arabian prophet did not himself reduce to writing the chapters of the Quran. They were written and compiled by his adherents and followers. But the compositions of the Sikh Gurus are preserved, and we know at first hand what they taught. They employed the vehicle of verse, which is generally unalterable by copyists and we even become in time familiar with their different styles. No other compositions or extraneous dogmas, can, therefore, be represented as theirs. As we shall see hereafter, it would be difficult to point to a religion of greater originality or to a more comprehensive ethical system.
